Ms. Ashworth joined SNPA in October, 2014. Her practice involves the preparation of wills, trusts and other estate planning documents as well as estate administration. Ms. Ashworth was raised in Austin and returned in 2011 to open a regional office for a trust company. She previously practiced law in the areas of estate planning and probate in both Nashville, Tennessee, and Birmingham, Alabama. She also administered trusts and estates for several financial institutions in Tennessee and Alabama.
Ms. Ashworth is a graduate of Rice University (B. A. Economics and Sociology), the University of Alabama at Birmingham (M. A. Sociology, Certificate in Gerontology) and the University of Alabama School of Law (J. D.). She is a member of the Estate Planning Council of Central Texas, serves on the Seton Foundation Advisory Board, and is a board member for AGE of Central Texas and the Planned Giving Council of Central Texas. She is licensed to practice law in Texas, Tennessee, and Alabama.
